Family-run retirement livery in Kent
A family-run retirement home, led day to day by Robin McGrath.
Heritage Horse Livery is for owners who want their horse to enjoy open-field retirement near Sittingbourne, with experienced care close by every day of the year.
Our approach
We keep retirement simple, steady and genuinely attentive.
Heritage Horse Livery is family run, with Robin McGrath as the main worker and owner. Robin brings experienced, hands-on care to the everyday routine, from daily welfare checks to spotting the small changes that can matter.
The family live onsite 24/7, 365 days a year, and the house overlooks the fields. That does not mean fussing over horses every minute; it means they are part of daily life, seen often, and close enough for care to be responsive.
Hands-on ownership
Robin McGrath is the person behind the daily standard.
For horse owners, trust often comes down to who is actually there. Robin leads the work on the ground, keeping the routine consistent and making sure each horse is treated as an individual rather than just another livery space.
